Just got back from two different local fireworks shops in my area.

Left both without going in because they require masks to be worn inside.Roll Eyes

Never really purchased fireworks online so I am wondering if anyone has had any good experiences with any specific online outfits?

They are cracking down in my state. Make sure the types of fireworks you want are legal in your area.

Think you’re going to have difficulty finding a seller that will actually ship fireworks directly to you. Usually you have to buy in person at a physical location. If you do discover one, please post the info.

After doing a little research it looks like there are at least a few sites that will deliver via freight to your house or to a freight location with a $200 to $500 minimum order.

Looked a little harder and found a brick and mortar (no pun intended) fireworks store without any asinine mask requirements within an hour of my location.

There were a couple of options that seemed decent online but you kind of want to physically see and hold the fireworks you are buying. The shipping deadlines were getting pretty tight for 4th of July delivery anyway.

Thanks for the replies, I am now going to watch the fireworks stand scene from Joe Dirt after seeing all the goofy fireworks names Smile

My understanding is if you have a medical condition you don’t have to wear a mask and they can’t ask what the condition is. I think it’s an ADA thing.

These go to eleven.

We are pretty lucky here in TN. Fireworks shops on every corner except in the progressive cities. We have a fair amount that are open all year long...

I stopped at a retail business today. they'd recently moved to a new location and I didn't know they were there. As I walked up to the front door I read a sign that said please wear a mask before entering.

I did not have a mask...

I looked around and counted zero vehicles besides mine. I opened the door and leaned in and said, I don't have a mask but I would like to spend some money in your business. The owner came from in back and said please come in...

I understand where they are now located that the mask ruse is probably helpful. I wanted to be respectful and ask. I would have happily left.

I bought a few extra things

They cause death, also it burns a copy of the constitution every time you don one.

I just put one on when I go in a store. Forgot mine the other day in the gas station/convenience store I frequent, asked the person at the register if I could shop without one, she laughed and said of course Jesse.

I hate wearing the f$&¢ing things, but for a 15 minutes or less transaction, I'm not going to fight the system. I have to wear one while working, now thats crappy. I sweat easy so it's soaked within 1/2 hour, then I really can't breathe.

I checked the website of the first store I went to and it made no mention of mask requirements so I was a little offputt when I got there and seen the signage requiring them.

There are only a couple of stores period in my area that require masks and I choose not to shop at them. The fact that there are only a few stores that require masks proves how useless the masks really are.

I have no problems with private businesses having their own policy, I am just not playing along.

I am glad I was stubborn, the fireworks store I did find that didn't require masks was only 10 minutes farther away and had an exceptional inventory (didn't see any whistling kitty chasers or whisker biscuits though Smile

It seems the idea of wearing a mask is along the lines of opinions on politics, abortion, religion, etc. Of course if you are not wearing the right type of mask then it is not preventing YOU from getting COVID. The point is if people wear one then they will help prevent the spread if they have it. I personally wear an N-95 when I go to any stores. I am required by my agency to wear one while working inside any jails within the state. To each their own, but I am glad people who don’t want to wear a mask choose not to go into a business that requires it. I just hope this crap ends soon.
