My wife and oldest are off at a church winter camp this weekend. My youngest asked for pancakes with sprinkles.

Scratch-made pancakes (thanks for the recipe, Grok) and orange juice we squeezed and canned a couple weeks ago.

What’s on your plate this morning?

Homemade turkey sausage, scrambled eggs, and coffee (Kona blend). It was good but not as good as homemade pork sausage.

Scratch pancakes two days ago. Today, on a cold wet morning, it was steel-cut oats with craisins, walnuts, and brown sugar.

...That runs reliably on that high grade syrup. Very rare to have stoppages of any sort, even morning.

I wish member mbinky’s photos were still up. They were impressive. All on one Lodge griddle over a charcoal grill.
