We need a new kind of sentencing guideline. Something like "20 and out" where you do 20 in contemplation of your exit, and on completion of 20, you get taken out and shot.

Plea agreement committed them to a bottom of 18 years on on one scum, 20 on the other.

What happened to the death penalty? I remember when the state of Delaware and the Commonwealth of Virginia used to hang individuals accused of capital murder. Now, it seems the taxpayer is on the hook to support these criminals until they die, or God forbid, are released after "serving their sentence."

Also, per a US Supreme Court Ruling a few years ago, criminals under 18 can't be sentenced to death or Life Without Parole. In Missouri, the certified as adults criminals are charged with Murder 2nd Degree as they can get more time than the current "they are just kids and their poor brain hasn't developed enough to know Right from Wrong" modified Murder 1st Degree. Most states have truth in sentencing which is usually at least 85% of sentence BEFORE they are eligible for Parole.
