I hate muffs while shooting rifles. I usually use plugs.

My friend bought some, loves them for shooting rifles on the bench, handguns, etc. Not so much for augmentation to hear that world class buck sneak up on you. Turns out he's just another beetle about 99.96% of the time....

I have a set and for the money they work quite well.

I bought them for handgun matches in the summer when it gets uncomfortable wearing headgear all day

They have some draw backs such as

a short battery life

No auto shut off

Sometimes they are hard to fit as the ear pieces wear, and you need to get new inserts

Inside and outside if I am safety officer and running shooters I usually wear muffs instead of them as they don't dampen the noise and concussion when I am standing back and off to the side like muffs do

Overall if I lost the ones I have I would purchase another set.
