Al Gore, along with his adopted son, NFL running back, Frank Gore, announced that they will soon release new findings which prove the gas emitted from firing AR 15 and AK 47 style assault rifles is creating holes in the ozone layer, which is contributing to climate change. The report, which will be published in next month's edition of Better Homes and Gardens, cites evidence that there are less holes in the ozone layer over heavily regulated states such as New York, New Jersey, and California (thanks to that stupid bullet button mag release law or whatever law it has morphed into now).
In the report, the former Vice President states the survival of the polar bear population depends solely upon the repeal of the 2nd Amendment. The duo's campaign will feature a malnourished polar bear wearing a San Francisco 49ers cap.
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown

“ Enlightenment is man’s emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one’s own understanding without another’s guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one’s own mind without another’s guidance.” — Immanuel Kant

It's sad that even though I woke up this morning knowing it was April Fools, this is close enough to the realm of possibility that I thought it was true.
