Wow, and I thought the pinnacle of stupid was this from a state rep from CO on magazine bans -

I know this sounds stupid but it is more the presentation than the actual need.

It should be industry not the .gov to figure this out. A few hundred million dollar settlements should help them figure this out.

Putting all large size re male crash test dummies has caused a lot of women and children to be hurt.

A five foot 90 woman could get her neck severely injured in a crash with a badly designed seat belt.

It seems that roughly 25 years ago NHTSA put together a "family" of crash test dummies to "increase crash protection for all occupants, including infants, children, and adults who ride in vehicles."
