grumpy1Yeah WTF. We quit buying their over priced products years ago and found we like New Balance products better and they cost a lot less because of not having the endorsement costs markup, etc.

gearhoundsThe irony of what’s-his-names “bodies in the street” comment is that thugs are killing other thugs more than any other group. They would kill each other for a pair of these shoes and sleep like little babies.
Just Douche It, Colin.

It's true. The idiot actually wore this shirt:
Outspoken San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who last made headlines by refusing to stand during the playing of the national anthem before an NFL football game, continued to act as a lightning rod for controversy by appearing at a 30 August 2016 press conference wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with photographs of ’60s Nation of Islam leader and black power advocate Malcolm X and Cuban dictator Fidel Castro.
A slogan on the shirt read, “Like Minds Think Alike.”
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

flashguyI am again unfortunate in that I cannot participate in a boycott. As with all the previous ones (NFL, e.g.) I can't stop doing something I've never done anyway. I don't like football, don't watch the NFL, have never been to a game, so I can't boycott the NFL. I have also never bought a pair of Nike shoes (I've never bought any brand of athletic shoe--I don't "do" sports), so I can't boycott Nike, either. What am I to do?
On the opposite side, I like Chick-fil-A and patronize them fairly often. I've never been to an In-N-Out Burger place (there's not one in my usual AO), but I'd be willing to try them.

bigwagonThe whole concept of the campaign talking about sacrifice in the face of one's principles is a joke. The fact is that Krappernick was a millionaire before any of this protest BS began, and he's still a millionaire. He has sacrificed nothing.
