Our accountant automatically files for extension if he think it’ll be close to the deadline. We just let him do his thing.

Here's what I learned from being part of project teams. When there's something to be done and someone commits to doing it, you also get a commitment when they expect to complete it and what's a reasonable date for a status check to make sure there's no hold up.

And when I ask for when they expect to be done, I tell them I'm not trying to hurry them up, I just want to plan the schedule accordingly.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Long time friend is an EA with his own firm, I try to get my packet to him before the end of Feb. If I've not heard back by 30-days I'll reach out, so far his office reaches out and notifies if things are slow or, any hang-ups.

Heard from our preparer and they are done. It took a while this year. But they did what they always do. Got them done.

I may forget my thoughts of finding another preparer next year. Razz

All good
