This jerk and his cronies, Mayor Stoney, Richmond, and Mark Herring continuing to do all they can before their terms end to belittle Virginia history.

Now they are proposing to donate the Removed Confederate statues to Black History Museums. I realize this does not mean anything to people who do not think we should be honoring Confederate leaders.

My point is, these statues should have been donated to groups or places that still are in function preserving history, they certainly could have been displayed at Appomattox .

Good Riddance, Northam, Herring !

Seems like hes trying to have the statues destroyed, which is what Blackface McBaby-Murderer and his cronies want to do, which is a potential outcome of this idiotic decision. Then his hands will be "clean", the museums having done his dirty work for him.

Isn’t these statues the history of all of us? Not just Virginians… Don’t I have the right to visit these icons of history, even if I don’t live in that state?

Why not give these politicians to the BLM museum?
Toss in Ralph’s blackface kit as a good neighbor prize.

Ralph is just virtue signaling, hoping to continue covering for his yearbook pic debacle.

May he go back to the shore and retire quietly, staying out of the public arena forever.

God bless America.

I avoided reading the article because i know it would enrage me

Heck my dad called me last week when he saw the article regarding the statues from Charlottesville. It enraged him.

My family hails from Ohio, WV, and KY but see this as a disgrace.

I thought the statues belonged to the citizens of VA not the shit bag politicians.

So.. it appears that every statue they take down they replace it with a special interest group statue.

I read that in Monroe they are contemplating taking down the Gen. Custer statue.

It never ends.

I am enraged also. The Aholes are very selective in their cancel culture tactics. They are keen to reap the monetary rewards of Civil War tourism and promote it. Why not erase Civil War battlefields..hint, many are revenue draws. They were so anxious to open the Time capsule beneath Lee's statue pedestal, so they could get their thieving hands on it.

There was a time I enjoyed visiting Richmond and Charlottesville. No more, although I have to visit UVa's medical center, I equate both cities now as on par with Baltimore or Austin, TX.
