Did Rod Serling direct this video?

Just skimmed thru the video, but I'm telling ya, I really wanted to punch out the videographer.

One of the things I don't get from people who don't want to be filmed is that they continue to walk up to the camera knowing they're being filmed.

Cannot handle simple situations. Live PD offers ample demonstrations of encounters that end poorly. These folks however did not appear intoxicated nor were they being threatened with arrest. Walk away and go inside. Curious he did not choose the Englewood neighborhood in Chicago to film his YouTube videos.

I was doing my job (tax assessor), which involves taking photos of buildings, when I was asked what I was doing by a fairly aggressive guy. I told him. He got a little more pissed, and took my photo and my license plate photo. He called someone, too - maybe the village hall.

I probably didn't calm him down too much when I smiled and waved for his photo.

Oh, and his house was blocks away from where I was working, and I didn't get to his area for several days after that. He was bent out of shape over property that wasn't his, being photographed legally for a routine purpose. Disgruntled or not, he went away when he had his answer.

If the twit doing this "1st amendment audit" had acted just a little bit more like a normal human being, his interaction with the frantic fools would have probably been short and boring.

stupid on both sides. videodude/dudette should've just continued on and leave. She/He is a transgender 1st amendment auditor who tries to provoke stuff. Shim got shot last year? sometime by a guard somewhere.

We get these people from time to time and just ignore them.

There are dozens of these that are hilarious. I'll try to find the unhinged armed private security guy. He is so over the top I'd throw a red flag gun law on him, and I detest this red flag law bullshit.

I'll say this for these First Amendment Auditors, they've been instrumental in getting .gov officials, police, and private security to understand photography is not a crime.

SCOTUS ruled that taking photographs of public officials in their official capacity, and public property from publicly accessible areas is a Constitutionally protected activity under the First Amendment. Just like keeping and bearing arms is under the Second Amendment.

Best of all, there are dozens of cases where corrupt police officers got caught fabricating charges against these auditors. The result was fired corrupt cops, pay outs in the tens of thousands of dollars, court mandated training programs to prevent reoccurrence, and in Californis, a law that explicitly states photography is not reasonable grounds for suspicion that a crime is afoot.

Heyyy that's right down the street from me. Don't know any of the idiots in the video, though. I agree, all involved were morons. Simi is (was?) one of the more conservative areas in CA, home of the Reagan Library. These folks are a little nuckin' futs though.

I suspect these to be be typos and weird autocorrects, but they had me laughing until I just about blacked out, so “can of shop ass” and “fucksock” are now officially entering my lexicon. If not, I’m perpetuating them anyhow.

Videographer is an asshole. And the lady is an asshole. Too bad the camera wasn’t shut off for awhile so the guy with the white truck could have had a talk with him. Videographer needed an ass whooping.

He should have told them there was 2 for 1 burgers at the closest sack meal place. They would have herded off quickly.

This is why I'm glad my house sits in the middle of 4 wooded acres and it can't be seen from the road.

Besides the obvious trolling the homeowners, notice the police never approach or talk to the videographer at all. That tells me they are familiar with them and knew to just ignore it.

I feel sorry for the wheelchair man. Frustrated, he started rubbing his forehead. I thought he was going to get up and walk away!

Fucksock was correct. It’s a standard in my vocabulary.
