Time for a new e'ry day work bag.

I really like this one:

https://eberlestock.com/collec.../combat-office-brief

-It doesn't scream tacti-cool
-It's got nice access and compartment for a full-size roscoe
-It fits my big-ass mobile workstation which is 15x10x1.5" all by itself.
-room for flashlights, daggers, multi-meters, walkie talkies, do-dads and my Ti-89.

Dealbreaker: I don't see "Proudly made in the USA" anywhere on that site.

I can afford not to buy chinese shit. Maxpedition also does not appear to manufacture state side. This is taking way longer than I thought it would.

Any suggestions are MUCH appreciated!
Thank you guys!

This might be a bit larger than you want, but Hill People Gear is made in the USA and uses suppliers from the US as well. They are also pro-2A.

Remember,
The nicer it looks ,
The more attention it gets,
The more someone else might feel the need to obtain it.

If the only place it goes is to the house, the car an the office,
I like the one you chose.

If you are taking the subway, the bus or riding your bike,
I say opt for something that looks like something at a quarter the cost.

No one will give it a second look

I've got an ancient Timbuk2 messenger bag. I believe they were US made at the time I bought it, they might still be.

Bendable I love you man.

I drive myself to work and would die if I tried to bike to work.

I don't like bus or train people so I avoid those.

I wouldn't even mind a black molle bag that screams "lets play shootee shootee" at this point.

Made in usa, hold a big 'puter and a big ole pistole, sheldon cooper style.

Thanks very much for the suggestion Pale Horse!
My issue with those are the very DIY sort of setup.
Plus everything is out of stock except greenish.

I had an idea until I read that. Damn that's a big honking laptop.

Not sure if this will work for you, but Red Oxx is top-quality stuff, manufactured in Montana.

Great company to do business with.

Unfortunately this one checks all the boxes except made here.
https://www.maxpedition.com/pr...tical-attache-medium

It also wins the award for douchiest model name and superfluous nalgene storage. Gotta hand it to Maxipadition tho, I love the flashlight strap that also looks like it will be perfect for my nunchucks.

Taiwan, hmmmmf

Lessee if I can make one of those pistol holder thingies work in a red oxx bag...

I have found that quality business style bags can easily fit the bill for CCW compatibility without all the superfluous super-tac additions.

I emailed eberlestock and they confirmed their bags are made in Vietnam.

My suspicions are confirmed, if "Made in the USA" is not prominently displayed on the product info, it's not made here.

Also red oxx is out, no weapon-sized compartment is quickly accessible without opening the main flap.

The search goes on, thanks for the responses so far!
