Some would argue lie that D.J. Trump is the devil incarnate as well.
Just because there's a www. in front of it doesn't necessarily make it true.

Many years ago (more than forty) I worked for a company in Oak Brook. McDonald's HQ was the second building west of us on the same street. Oak Brook was a great place to live and to work at the time. Very little crime. One of my friends in the Chicago BMW Motorcycle club was a sargeant, Oak Brook PD, and these guys took no shit from nobody.

Has Oak Brook changed so much that McDonald's is thinking about leaving?

Oak Brook mall, BEAUTIFUL place to shop. Well...

(^^^ Assholes lived in the District that I work in)

Unfortunately Oak Brook being right off the expressway attracts many of our assholes from the West and South Side.
Theft, robberies, carjackings have increased in the past few years. Only good thing is Oak Brook is in DuPage County, and they don't play the same games we do. DuPage County actually plays by the rules!

Ironic.

But considering they now go by "CME Group", I guess moving to a different city that's more business-friendly but also starts with a C wouldn't be too disruptive. Big Grin

Perhaps Chatanooga, TN? Or Carrolton, TX? Or Charlotte, NC?

Correct. The .gov $-faucet is much bigger than his.

McDonald's left Oak Brook years ago and moved to Downtown Chicago ( Tore down the old Oprah studio and built a new HQ.)

Oakbrook, Hinsdale, Burr Ridge, are still very nice and expensive towns to live. Unfortunately over the years the scum bags have been moving out there to surrounding towns like Oakbrook terrace, Bolingbrook, Joliet, and there low life's have been eating away at the nice communities.

DuPage County which incorporates Oak Brook is not what it used to be. Many Chicago libs have moved out there. DuPage County went with Obama twice when he ran for office. While it's not yet blue, it is at the very least turning purple.

I’ve been wondering if World Wide Technology might leave. They could literally move 20 miles and be in Missouri. Over 8000 employees and around 15 billion in revenue.
