You should check out Blenko Glass. It's made about 3 miles from my home here in WV. Very neat stuff with a lot of history. They have a wide range of hand blown glass. You can check them out at www.blenko.com. For the drinkware it's https://blenko.com/product-cat...blers-and-drinkware/. I'm told their other products can be used as a "get out of doghouse card" with the wife. Did I mention it's made 3 miles from my house?!? It can be found in the Whitehouse as well.
My wife also reminded they will do a custom design for you as well apparently. Not sure why she knows that but I suspect I will when I look over the credit card statement.

Ive taken joy out of buying those liquor and glass gift sets from the makers of the booze I like. I've actually found them to be a good deal with the glass being appropriate for what I'm drinking and the cost is often the same or in one or two price matching instances actually less.

Make it totally clear to anyone standing at the wrong end that things are going badly for them. If that means sticking all sort of spikes and prongs and blackened bits all over it then so be it. This is not a gun for hanging over the fireplace or sticking in the umbrella stand, it is a gun for going out and making people miserable with." -Douglas Adams

The trouble with fighting for human freedom is that one spends most of one's time defending scoundrels. For it is against scoundrels that oppressive laws are first aimed, and oppression must be stopped at the beginning if it is to be stopped at all. -Mencken

I use the Glencairn but really like the looks of the Norlan, especially the Black Edition.

I have some fancy antique lowball glasses (from the 50s?) that have simple drink recipes on them and are red and gold. My favorite whiskey glass? 10oz Yeti or Ozark trail insulated stainless. Ice lasts FOREVER with booze in those.

I'm pretty much with Sreding. Ice melting isn't a problem, my center of gravity while pouring and watching is another matter.
Those Norian glasses are calling, however.

They're not cheap, but I like Baccarat Harmonie tumblers. My in-laws have a set of 4".

At home, I have these Ralph Lauren double old-fashioned. I don't love the look but they've got a very nice weight. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B006...gid=pla-362057042337

I'm also a sucker for game birds on my rocks barware...

Not a rocks glass but if you'd like a glass to give your Glencairns a run for their money, try out the Cradle Glass. Each one is hand blown. It's got a nice heft and the science behind it improves the nosings and tastings of your favorite dram. I love mine and my Glencairns are getting dusty.
