I wanted USA to win but Venezuela has had little to cheer about, they needed this. Suarez will put on his Reds uniform next week and I'll be cheering for him. WBC was some damned good baseball - Congratulations Venezuela!

Most of their team is already tied to major league teams. Congrats to them. If rooting for the reds and suarez get ready for a ton of strike outs.
DeRosa is why USA lost. Had Hinch, Roberts or similar. Hell, I would of taken one of the college managers over numbnuts we would of won without question. That is twice with him and the same outcome. Stupid.

Venezuela has had superb MLB players since before you were born, dating back before WWII.

It’s a powerhouse of baseball talent, along with Japan and the Dominican Republic. This isn’t new at all!
