The writing will be on the wall for them, and they'll take whatever settlement they can get from the Feds. Once they get out, they'll be a book deal or, two waiting. With all the money getting shoveled over to the many 'racial equity' organizations, she'll likely be brought on to sit on it's board (not sure if disbarment in MD is possible) and serve as a legal commentator for several media outlets.

https://hotair.com/archives/ja...eone-cant-pay-taxes/ Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby has purchased two homes in Florida for more than $1 million combined since September, including a condo on the Gulf of Mexico that closed just days before her campaign said it was exploring setting up a legal defense fund for her mounting attorneys’ fees. Mosby bought a condominium on a barrier island just north of Sarasota for $476,000 in February. She financed the Longboat Key property with a 30-year, $428,400 loan, according to Sarasota County property records. Meanwhile, property records in Osceola County show Mosby paid $545,000 in September for a 4,000-square-foot property near Disney World. The records show Mosby used a $490,500 loan for that purchase in Kissimmee. The couple’s attorney tried to explain the opulent purchases away by saying “She works. She’s an elected official. She has savings.” Perhaps so. But do you really want to brag about how much your clients have in savings when the IRS has placed liens in the amount of tens of thousands of dollars against their Baltimore properties and they’re setting up a legal defense fund to pay their legal fees while a grand jury investigates them? xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby won’t make public emails that mention her private businesses and are stored on her government computer, arguing that they are exempt from disclosure because they are part of an investigation by Baltimore’s inspector general. The Baltimore Sun filed a Public Information Act request for all emails that mention three private travel businesses Mosby set up last year but did not initially disclose in her state ethics filings. Her office cited three reasons for not releasing the documents: the ongoing investigation; that they weren’t related to state business; and that they “contain information about the finances of an individual.” Mosby also declined a separate request for her companies’ financial records — such as receipts and tax returns — that are not subject to state public records laws. And she refused repeated requests for an interview. She claims that these companies exist “only in name” and they are intended to help underserved Black residents to travel in comfort. But if that’s the case, why not set them up as nonprofits? Also, why set them up just as she’s starting another term in office rather than waiting until she’s at least close to getting out of politics and law enforcement when she’ll have more time to operate them? It’s also curious that financial statements apparently exist for the companies as well. That’s rather odd since they allegedly only exist on paper https://hotair.com/archives/ja...mails-none-business/

That bitch needs to stay out of Florida. Probably doing that for tax purposes. We don't need any of her bullshit in a state that's still free. _____________

And I can't help but think, if a Repub mayor did such, all the mainstream news media would front page it every day. "Liberty lies in the hearts of men and women. When it dies there, no constitution, no law, no court can save it....While it lies there, it needs no constitution, no law, no court to save it" - Judge Learned Hand, May 1944

I would disagree. I think child molesters are a better class of people than politicians. You know in advance what a child molester is going to do.

OT, but related to Mosby https://thehill.com/homenews/s...cluding-prostitution The city of Baltimore will no longer prosecute certain low-level crimes, including prostitution, drug possession and minor traffic violations, State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby announced Friday. The move was unveiled in a press release from Mosby’s office as it reported “one-year success” of policies implemented last March to not prosecute the nonviolent charges amid the coronavirus pandemic. According to the state’s attorney’s office, last year’s decision has “resulted in a decrease in arrests, no adverse impact on the crime rate, and address the systemic inequity of mass incarceration.” Due to the success of the policies, which were initially enacted as a way to reduce the chances of massive coronavirus outbreaks in prisons or jails, Mosby on Friday announced that the changes would be permanent. “Today, America’s war on drug users is over in the city of Baltimore,” Mosby said in a statement. “We leave behind the era of tough-on-crime prosecution and zero tolerance policing and no longer default to the status quo to criminalize mostly people of color for addiction.”
