Outlook for calendar only?
Enterprise mail and calendar. I installed Outlook on iPhone. I hate email via outlook but like calendar.

Is it possible to use outlook only for calendar and not have it do any email? I think it’s taking a lot of local storage. And anyway, I want to just use the iPhone email app.

If not, I’ll just delete outlook entirely and go back to the iPhone calendar app.

Are able to sync the Outlook Calendar app on your phone with your enterprise version? If not, I wouldn’t bother using it.

If you are unhappy with the amount of storage Outlook takes up and don’t like the native calendar app I would just look for something else in the App Store.

BusyCal is a great calendar app for iOS/macOS. It syncs via iCloud so all devices are up to date.

Have you looked to see if in the Outlook app you can adjust the number of days of mail it syncs, if not turn it off altogether? I know in the built-in mail app you can do that.

Why would you not just use the calendar app that comes with the phone? Or is this for business use and you really need an enterprise calendaring solution?

Thought you had to configure Outlook with the details of your email accounts before it could access email. Can’t you just not do that? Or delete any email accounts that it managed to setup on its own during initial installation?

As far as I can figure, Outlook requires your email login and no way to exclude either mail or calendar (but calendar may be a possibility?). Email is required it seems.

I don't like the Outlook app - it takes a lot of space unnecessarily (500+MB) and I don't need it all of it. But the larger problem is that it's slow and unresponsive. I'll swipe and tap, etc and nothing happens. I need to keep trying until it responds.

I can take the calendar because I use it less and the iphone calendar sometimes has sync issues. And it seems like it has issues w/ managing the calendar. It's more friendly for viewing calendar.

I've deleted Outlook from my phone. I've gone back to iphone calendar and mail apps.
