Stupid, but strangely funny. Video included.

AUBURN, Wash. (CNN) - Race fans in Washington got a special Jurassic treat over the weekend.

Emerald Downs took a break from racing its usual thoroughbreds to let some dinosaurs take the track, and people loved it.

Video of the race has been shared on Facebook more than 260,000 times.

The running Tyrannosaurus rex are actually employees of a local pest control company.

It's one of the many family-friendly promotions the track and casino, which is owned by the Muckleshoot tribe, runs each year.

Those T. rex arms may be pretty useless, but they sure put their legs to work!

Ha ha. Reminds me of the eyeball races I saw at some minor league baseball game in Nee Jersey.

Something like this.

I don't know if it happens at Miller Park, but an Italian Sausage, Bratwurst, and Polish Sausage used to race around the field at County Stadium.

I remember something like that in Chicago. If I recall correctly a fan assaulted one of them and there was hell to pay. I think someone assaulted the sausage because they were making fun of Italians. I go for cheap humor.

I'm usually not one for silly humor but any time I see people in those T-Rex suits running amok I die laughing.

One can see those are not real T Rexs because we can see sneakers at the bottom. Plus, a real T Rex is much bigger.. Big Grin

Emerald Downs also has wiener dog and corgi races. Last year’s corgi races had the biggest gate next to the 4th of July races.
The top three Corgis got to race during a Seahawks game.

Nats home games always has Presidential Race. It's fun to watch, but T-rexs running around the outfield would be cool to see.
