A young'in. He has some growing to do to fit into those paw's.

Hungry, probably looking for something to eat other than mice and lizards.

We just got pinged this morning about a mamma bobcat with kittens living in a park nearby. I'm sure CPW has been notified by now to come in and relocate them.

Now that's a very cool cat!

No idea about Arizona, but in MS we get nervous about rabies when these critters start acting unusual. Of course around here, the general policy is "see a bobcat, shoot a bobcat," so maybe not a good example to go by....

We had a similar encounter just outside my building a few years ago.

The kitty came by for a belly scratch.

I will not let my Jack Russell out alone in our backyard, even during the day. I have seen bobcats three times in my neighborhood in the last five years. A 17lb dog makes a nice meal for a bobcat.

Two of the elderly neighbor lady dump their kitchen scraps out by the corn field.

Last evening I saw a huge skunk out there gobbling stuff up.
Just a guess I'd say between 13 and 15 lbs.

There are a large number of Bobcats in my area. They stop by for a drink of water, or take a nap on my backyard fence in the shade.

And here I thought it was cool when I had a coyote in my backyard.

Neighbor had some chickens snatched up by a bobcat a couple of weeks ago.

Bobcats aren't to many around here, this was late afternoon kinda in town, the outskirts. The town itself is super small, 380 people and only a couple of stop signs.

The chickens were free range, and the Bobcat ran right up on the front porch to snatch one of the chickens.

Thank you for sharing your picture. The young bobcat was just curious, as all cats are.

Couple years back, driving into town one morning, came upon a grown bobcat, evidently just hit and killed on the hwy. Not a mark on him, and no blood. With gloves, I picked him up, put him in the back of my truck, and brought him home, and buried him on my land.

A noble cat like that should not rot on the road.

What impressed me was the size. Guessing 40 lbs, and 3 ft long. He was so beautiful.
