No, grab a beer, find a seat and watch the show. It's great entertainment unless the guns come out which I'm told cannot happen at DL. As someone else said, this is everyday stuff in the ghetto. From my experience: NEVER GET INVOLVED WITH SHITHEAD ON SHITHEAD CRIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At least not until a gun come out or after the FIRST stab wound with a knife because then you have evidence that someone had a knife.....trust me in a crowd like that a knife will disappear in a nano-second. Then it will be your word against a group claiming one of them at a knife which is now gone. If you jump in, all on them will jump on you. If you are really lucky and they don't jump you, then all of them will claim your overreacted. I tell this to all the new officers I supervised. One of my guys was off duty getting food when he heard a woman screaming she was being carjacked, my officer pulled his off duty pistol, got the suspect and detained him until on duty cops arrived. Want to know what happened next? Experienced cops can guess right now. She and the male claimed it was minor verbal argument and the cop pulled his pistol for no reason, and oh yeah, called the guy the n-word...several times. Lucky for the officer there were 7 witnesses who heard her screaming she was being carjacked and heard the officer being professional during the whole incident. It still resulted in a 100 page internal affairs investigation hanging over the officer for a couple weeks. When I am off duty, fuck them. I have no responsibility other than being a good witness. I will protect me, mine, and innocent bystanders. | |||

My best friend was a State Trooper. We were bar hopping in our younger years with a few younger Troops. A fight broke out in the bar and the young Troops wanted to intervene. By buddy took a quick look, said " nope, no weapons, we're outta here" and we dropped cash and left. We met the local guys coming in and hand shakes were exchanged as the let us out before entry. Being a civie, I'm always off duty. Not saying I won't step in if a situation REALLY warrants it, but those are extremely limited situations. Me and mine have 100$ priority for protection and exiting the situation. Especially if it's just a fist fight - I was driving to the store the other day and saw a man and woman fighting in their driveway next to his nice fishing boat - the woman seemed to be getting the better of the man with a left hook. I gave them a long honk as I rolled by at 45 MPH, but no way I was gonna stop for 2 morons. I got my stuff at the store and drove back, passing the same house about 7-8 min later; they were still outside and things seem to have settled down, as they were picking up some of the shit they had apparently thrown around during the fight. Funny thing is they just built the house about a year ago and it's pretty nice, yet they decided to go fisticuffs in the driveway for all to see. | |||

Deputies...They did not play around with this cast of clowns. We are up there often with our girls. I’ve been pleased they haven’t witnessed anything like it yet. Many of the armed officers are Sevier Co SO. I’ll bet many local jurisdiction officers have an arrangement either as assignment or off duty extra job work. I’m glad to have them. | |||

I watched like 4 or 5 "reaction" videos to this by black people on Youtube. My favorite was one where the commentator just had a dismayed look on his face and repeated over and over again, "black people, what are we doing?" Emblematic, to say the least. Secondly, the Amazing Lucas did a hilarious video about it featuring "Liberal Lucas" reminding us how this was all because of white privilege and that the "Black Queen" and "Black King" were doing a beautiful dance. LOL. The third was one that posited the "whos" and the "whats" about the scene. The heftiest woman and the red shirt guy are (?) related. Some beef arose beforehand. Relatives throw fisticuffs, brown shirt girl, who is red shirt guy's woman, throws fisticuffs. Their actual momma, the woman in the scooter, slides into the fight and gets clobbered. The actual sister then tells red shirt guy that his woman clobbered his momma (by accident, likely), and then he comes and clobbers his woman. Perhaps?
