Easiest least complicated cell phone to use any suggestions?
A family member who is their mid 80s is starting to have problems using their cell phone. Up till 4 months ago no problems, however he has seen a steady decline since then.

We are looking for something not to complicated. I don't think it even need to be a smart phone that has internet capability's just something to make phone calls with.

Something with large buttons, an easy contact list to go through and something for a person whom is hard of hearing.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

THere are a few Jitterbug phones out there that might be good, my dad still does well with his Iphone so we stuck with that.


There are Jitterbugs Smart4 and Flip designed for seniors.

I got a jitterbug flip for my mom. 85 and more or less blind, and about as non technical as can be.
Buttons are big, volume can get loud.
I programmed the "important" numbers on speed dial. Press and hold 2 gets me, 3 my brother etc.

She doesnt like being without it.
Works as a safety net if she needs help or family needs to get in touch.

The lively operators are adept at dealing with older people. And have helped my mom solve minor problems.

Runs about $22 a month.

I have a plain and simple Verizon flip phone......no smartphone. I want it for emergency phone calls only, and it does great!!

Anyone have any experience with RAZ mobility?

I just started looking and they popped up and I like the fact that I can monitor the phone, reprogram etc from several states away.

Good morning again SigForum Family.

I appreciate the recommendations provided to 71Truck, they help me as well.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with Consumer Cellular and the Grandpad?

My dad is having a ton of trouble, he is not only having "senior moments" he is also losing his fine motor skills and his fingers are beginning to curl so the family is thinking a bigger device without small buttons might work best.

If you have any experience with the grandpad or consumer cellular in general I would appreciate your insight.
