dlc444Paging Mr. Yarchin.

Quick dog diet question. Not sure if this should go off line or not. Didn't see email in your profile.
I have a Beagle, 12 yrs old or so who has some dietary issues. Always scratching, a bit more odoriferous than most hounds. took her off store bought due to vomiting issues.
I have put her on a homemade diet, but not sure if she is getting enough nutrition or calories. as she seems to always want more food than she ever ate before.
Essentially, I boil and pick 10 lbs of chicken quarters, boil brown rice in the broth and add some frozen mixed vegetables for roughage. Probably spend four plus hours a week making meals for the dog. More than human food prep time for the week.
We used to just free feed and she would never eat more than a full bowl or so a day. What am I missing? Not my favorite pet, but I will take care of her as best I can.
