I never knew how foie gras was produced. Now that I do I'm of the opinion it should be banned as animal cruelty in every state of the union.

I once had dog foie gras in southern China. It was offered by my hosts and I had to try it out of courtesy. It actually tasted okay. Still, I wasn't crazy about it and I had no idea how it was made until now.
