GustoferLooks like an old Texaco logo. Maybe an old mudflap of some type?
ETA: JALLEN is correct. Mobil and not Texaco.

JALLENPegasus, the flying red horse logo of a predecessor of Mobil Oil, Magnolia maybe, Phillips, maybe.
Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.
When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown August 15, 2018, 07:23 PM

ffipsCurb sign from old gas station. Sort of like the caution wet floor signs that have two halves and stand independently. With new description from OP, see my next post for example.

Chris42If it could be considered a bag - ie having a front and back and sealed on the edges, it might be a water bag, emergency water for radiators?
August 15, 2018, 07:35 PM
BigJoeI know it is Pegasus, the Mobil sign from years ago.
But this is a bag. On the reverse, which I do not have a picture of, there is text on the other side. I can make out some of the text and it reads...."Keeps water cool"
