Yep, that's what I pack along. No issues, and pumps them up quickly.

20 minute duty cycle, 1.47 cubic feet per minute, 120 PSI work pressure.

This is far more capable than the typical 12v air compressor you would find onboard a battery pack or something. It has a max 20 amp power draw and runs off of clamps from your battery terminal.

Fills up fast and quietly, so I use it for my regular tire pressure checks, but I also keep it in the car for emergency use. Many times when you get a nail in a tire, the air leak is slow enough that you can limp it to the tire shop with a little extra air.

If you are going off-roading and need to air down all 4 tires and re-air all the tires back up in series, then you may want something with an extended duty cycle--but for everyday use, this thing is perfect if not a bit overbuilt.

Men fight for liberty and win it with hard knocks. Their children, brought up easy, let it slip away again, poor fools. And their grandchildren are once more slaves.

Spreadsheets people!

I use a car maintenance spreadsheet.

Every month I use it to remind myself to check the oil, tire pressure, fluids, washer fluid, rotate tires, etc. It also reminds me to check my spare tire pressure every few months.

I have a high tech battery maintainer/charger that repairs older batteries, and I'll put my battery on the charger every 3 months as well. Seems to refurbish them a bit and make them last a bit longer. Plus, new cars are programmed to turn the alternator off to conserve fuel, so newer cars have a habit of not fully charging a battery. Its nice to get a nice full charge on the battery every now and then.

Second a Viair compressor. I keep one in the RV and use it most frequently on our cars and tractors. It'll inflate a blimp.
