Close, but back-asswards. Lucky Strike Green was the standard, they changed the pack to a red logo during WWII. The jingle was "Lucky Strike Green has gone to war!"
Be careful when following the masses. Sometimes the M is silent.

Snopes says the central circle “dot” started as green and was later changed to red, but that’s not what Wikipedia claims. Wiki says the green background was changed to white during the war because green ink contained copper which was a strategic metal. There are plenty of online photos of green and white background packages, but none I can find with anything other than a red central circle.

"Loose Straps Mean Floppy Tits" – Bingo. During the time frame, these puppies were fully and firmly encased – see “Animal House.”
“You boulder (note the half-wit play on words and not a miss-spelling) members have a little fun - remember this as part of a garment description back then?”
OK, so anyone remember this description of the bra: “Over the holder boulder holder”?

I guess I didn't run in the right circles because I've never heard any of those alternate meanings for the motto. (I'm almost 81.)

I guess it was a regional thing. You step on the empty pack. Call, “Lucky Strikes, no strikes back,” then punch your friend on the arm. You have to remember to “wipe it off” though or he could hit you back.

In suburban Chicago in the late 1950's I heard it as "Loose sweaters mean flabby tits" From an engineering standpoint I think straps would be more accurate.

Loose sweaters mean floppy tits. They went green during WWII to reduce use of red dye, contained nitrates used in the war effort.
A gun in the hand is worth more than ten policemen on the phone. The American Revolution was carried out by a group of gun toting religious zealots.

What can you do with fifty bras?
Cut them in half and have 100 beanies with chin straps.

Based on some admittedly inadequate research I personally conducted back then, I think this is probably right.
Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.
When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Same here: Loose Straps Means Floppy Titties.
We went off that for: Let's Suck Many Fucking Tits.
Instead of Many - insert a girls name that starts with M (Marsha, Mary, Melanie.... or even Massive)
