40 MPH winds... so THAT didn't happen. Traveled all the way to the grocery store instead.

ugeestaStaying home for a change. Now that we are back in CO, my MIL can drive over instead of us flying to her.

comet24Traveled about 370 miles. Been sitting in a house in the OBX since Sat. A Thanksgiving tradition started 8 or so years ago. The off-season here is nice. A little chilly but few people.
Cooked Thanksgiving dinner earlier in the week so we could enjoy leftovers. Spent some time on the beach, some fishing and mostly just relaxing with great views. Did get some exercise in as I went for a few runs on the beach. Somehow I don't hate running some much when the view is the ocean.
Heading home tomorrow to beach traffic. Our rental is good till Sat but it's better to leave Fri late afternoon then Sat. Save a few hours in traffic that isn't there Fri.
