Truckin' On

| I’ve had Gerbings gloves for many years, along with a jacket liner. They make a world of difference and are very well-made. Also have purchased gear from warmnsafe, another excellent source. Consider the heat-troller thermostat rather than just the on/off switch. The heated gear is my most-valued investment wrt all things related to riding.

| I live in CT & ride my bike year round, granted not everyday, but I do not winterize my bike so I make sure I get her out often. I think the coldest temp I drove her in was a high of 11 degrees. I only have heated gloves (Gerbings). snowboarding pants are awesome for cold weather riding. I use the heated gloves a lot for being out long periods of time with my dog (Siberian Husky) who loves cold weather. I do not love cold weather but I love watching him have fun & be happy. For some reason, my feet never get cold. |

| I'm going to second the above. I have owned exactly one pair of heated gloves for the last 25 years, and they are the original Gerbings. If the price is too steep I would take a look at The warming store. I bought their jacket liner a few years back and it's a quality product. The rest of their line looked just as good, I just didn't need anything else.

All the time

| One other recommendation and it does work. Wear a pair of latex, nitrile, or similar gloves under your existing moto gloves. It blocks the wind, which is one of the greatest causes of heat loss. |

I really appreciate knowing this. I bought my gloves and jacket liner back in 2000. The gloves have never missed a beat, nor the original controller. The jacket liner I sent back in 2006 so they could fix a connection in one of the arm panels under warranty. Got it back quickly and its been 100% since then.
