I need to replace my US flag on my front porch entrance. The current one still has acceptable color but it's no longer as good as it should be, and it's starting to fuzz on the edges of the hems. I noticed my neighbor's flag is the same age as mine but is in better shape. I don't know where my wife got this one except that it was probably from a yard sale and it wouldn't surprise me if it was made outside of the US. So fixing this problem I want to go with a better quality flag sourced and manufactured in the US. I think my porch is too small for an official LxW ratio regulation flag, but I'm ok with that since the size I currently have looks nice.

I think for retirement I'll fold it up nicely as best I can and burn down a stack of firewood to a clean bed of red coals in my backyard steel fire ring. Based on what I've gathered on the net that should be a good enough way to do it, since it will probably be just me. I might do it when it's convenient for my neighbor to join me if he'd be interested in accompanying me. He's preparing for retirement from the Navy as an EOD Senior CPO. I know he's seen lots of precise and challenging work, but I don't know specifics except to learn that he dives to 300 ft and deploys with the Seals. I guess that's all I need to know if I want to stay alive.

Anyway if you guys can recommend a specific US company who sources their materials and manufactures on US soil, that would be much appreciated.

I've never bought from them, but Allegiance advertises on Newsmax alot and they seem to check all the boxes.

I got both my USA & TX flags from: https://www.aflag.com/

IIRC, mine are the NylGlo as I only get light wind here. Would've needed the Poly at my old house where we'd lost a couple angle mount flag pole bases to the wind.

I think it was VTail that pointed me that way in a far gone past post.

Working on my 2nd Allegiance flag here in NE Florida. I leave it out 24x7 with a light on it and gets direct sunlight from noon to sunset. The flag has held up construction wise but after roughly 2 years each the colors are faded. Still useable and figure I’ll get another year out of it.

I have Allegiance flags. Very well made. The first one did fade after a while, so I replaced it. I do take it down when it's going to rain as getting wet and then whipped by the rain can start shredding it after a while.

Florida sun and heat and rain has been rough on flags.I have a light on my pole and fly it in all but the worst weather. I buy the all weather US made 3x5 flags and they last about a year. Before fading and frayed ends develop.

Proudly flying 2 Allegiance flags for 2 years now! The poles have weathered nicely in the South Texas heat/cold/sun/rain/February.

Many US Congressman have a program where you can order a new in the box flag from them.
There is also a program to purchase a flag that is flown over the Capitol (probably of about 5 seconds) but I'm not referring to those.
Look up your Congresscritter's official website and you may be able to see it there. Look at their constituent services page. All the ones I bought through this have been excellent quality and US made.
For example, here's my Congressman's version:

I’ve bought my flags from Valley Forge for 7 years, both U.S. and state; I see no reason to look elsewhere.

Valley Forge G Spec, but the catalog says there is a production freeze on the nylon, GSP3234. The GSP6856 is the cotton one. Both are 3’6” x 6’7 3/4”, the proper 1:1.9 height to length ratio.

Very timely thread for me as we just took down and "retired" our flag yesterday.

Check with local VFW/Legion posts. Most sell flags and it supports veterans. They will also see that your flag is disposed of properly with the dignity it deserves.

Very nice flag, too.
