“Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport is set to install Islamic foot washing stations inside its terminal bathrooms, officials say. 

The project was officially registered by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation on July 31, and will reportedly be completed by the end of the year.

According to records of the project details, the ablution stations will be added to existing restrooms in Terminal D, in both the men's and women's restrooms.

This isn't going to work

Airport terminals are operated by the city/county (as applicable)and they decide internal operations and facilities. (You can see this by who works and qualifications for as TSA employees ) ie., they get paid by the city/county, not the feds).)

Not sure how much influence the state of Texas influences the internal function(s)

I'm going assume these are likely in Terminal D at IAH. I don't recall seeing anything like that in C/E [Primarily United terminals] the last couple times I've flown.

Having grown exceptionally weary of Reno, I was thinking about a move to Dallas.

While the project may be privately funded, it's going into a publicly funded space so you shouldn't have to guess who the benefactor is. It should be a matter of public record.
