Some time back, some folks here recommended Adblock Plus. It's been a godsend, the internet has since been readable. For those of you that never leave here, it's a wasteland out there.

Question:
Just click the little stop sign icon in upper right corner, answer the poll below with how many total ads it's blocked since installed.

Choices:
None, I don't need no stinkin adblocker.
1-100 I never leave Sigforum
101-10k I mainly use computer for work
10k - 100k I find it helps
100k - 500k I'm a moderate net surfer. Keeps the screen clutter free most of the time
Over 500k I surf all day and don't pay for porn!

I switched to uBlock Origin and it's over 1.25 million

Used to run Adblock Plus and it was great. Been a while, so forgot exactly why I switched, but guess I found uBlock Origin 1.18.6 along with Disconnect 5.18.21 to work best for me in Firefox.

I use uBlock Origin, and since installed (quite some time ago) I'm up to 3.9 million things blocked.

How many ads would Adblock block
If Adblock could block ads?

PiHole means my Adblocker doesn't have as much to do anymore. It also blocks most of those "analytic" type requests, too.

Switched as well when ABP was severely hindering Chrome performance.

Of course I had already tried steps 1-3 and step 6 gives me - Check for updates, settings (nothing in there), Disable for SF, Disable for everywhere.

Doesn't even show up searching drives with cortana or whatever they changed the search function to.

Program is AdBlockPlus. It's an add-on to IE for me as far as I can tell, not a program?

I've had it for a long time so it's 1,510,993. Seems like it's doing it's job.

2,436,315 with uBlock Origin, and that's just with this Macbook Pro. Considering that I use 3 MBPs and a Mac Mini, the figure would come to around 10 million in total.
