I can not find one on the inner net.
but I'd like to see him write about very well intentioned gun carriers
that got involved in other peoples business where they had to un-holster or even use their gun.

three stories of when the exchanges went well,
three exchanges that went to court,

and three exchanges that went very badly.

maybe he's already done this , but I just can't find it

Yeah, but the article was banned in Iowa. LOL Maybe you could send him an email. Someone probably reads it.

I can't pin anything down that specific, but he has written many columns for Combat Handguns and other gun rags that have dealt with such situations.

Not available for free on the Internet, but he did write a book called The Ayoob Files that puts together a lot of the case studies he's written. It probably has what you're looking for.

He also recently wrote a book on the use of deadly force that may be helpful, too.

Totally. It's a monthly column for Ayoob.

If you actually want to ask him questions, he has his own q&a subforum on Glocktalk. He's very good about answering questions posted there.

He also answers email promptly.

IIRC, he IS a member here (isn’t everybody?) but he doesn’t read here often.

I wish I could find it again, but there was an online article written by a LEO that talk about the multiple time he and his department had been sued for intervening (using a gun) in an incident.

I remember he mentioned a guy viscously beating a woman, and would not stop. He wound up shooting him, and the woman went balistic about him shooting her boyfriend. It REALLY caused me to think about intervening in any such situation.

I reached out to him through Glock Talk after I learned he was an officer for a bit in the town I grew up in. Responded pretty fast there.
