There is nothing to fear about the V-10, it has no serious vices.
The 6.0 and 6.4 diesels both have issues.
If you can find an acceptable 7.3 (now only in old trucks) or any gas engine you will be happy.
Towing occasionally at 11K any of the gas engines will be fine.

nojoyCool. I'll be looking at how often the oil changes were done, transmission fluid changes, any front end work like ball joints, etc.
Yes towing up to 11,000 pds (3 horse trailer, 1-2 horses), driving about 4-5,000 miles a year.

nojoySo I ended up getting the 2010 V10 4 door 4x4, standard bed. Last year of the V10 I believe. 71,000 miles on it.
