My wife and I tried a new (to us) product the other day and both of us were pleasantly surprised. We picked up a pound of "Applewood Smoked Duck Bacon" at our local food market.

The Duck Bacon went well with fried eggs for breakfast, and even better the following day in a BLT sandwich. For taste, we both feel it surpasses the traditional pork bacon.

we were in Jackson Wyoming a few weeks ago and had Lamb Bacon on a Bacon Cheeseburger.

Lamb Bacon was phenomenal!

One of the members here, I believe Jeff Yarchin used to smoke his own bacon. I need to bend his ear a little. Im seriously considering trying my hand at bacon.
