DMFStudent Sentenced to Prison for Registering Dead Voters as Democrats
For those saying he's going have a horrible four months, it won't be pleasant, but he's most likely going to be in a minimum security setting. Think something like FCI Danburry, in Connecticut, where Martha Stewart went, or FCI Englewood, in Colorado, where Rod Blagojevich is now.
While it's not pleasant, and certainly is punishment as his freedom will be restricted, the life at those facilities is not nearly as hard/risky as life at higher security facilities. Inmates there are typically "white collar" types, who have been convicted of non-violent offenses. They have a strong incentive to behave because violent acts can cause them to be moved to prisons with a higher security classification, and mixed with prisoners who have a history of violence. So prisoners are not likely to abuse other prisoners.
