sdyStudent Sentenced to Prison for Registering Dead Voters as Democrats
http://www.cnsnews.com/news/ar...ead-voters-democratsA Virginia student was sentenced to a maximum of four months on prison on Monday after pleading guilty to submitting 18 false Virginia Voter registration forms.
James Madison University student Andrew J. Spieles, 21, was hired to register Virginia voters for Harrisonburg Votes, a political organization affiliated with the Democratic Party, when he submitted the falsified forms.
In July 2016, Spieles’ job was to register as many voters as possible and report to Democratic Campaign headquarters in Harrisonburg, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said in a release.
“In August 2016, Spieles was directed to combine his registration numbers with those of another individual because their respective territories overlapped. After filling out a registration form for a voter, Spieles entered the information into a computer system used by the Virginia Democratic Party to track information such as name, age, address and political affiliation.
"Every Thursday an employee/volunteer hand-delivered the paper copies of the registration forms to the Registrar’s Office in Harrisonburg.”
An employee at the Register’s Office called police after noticing that the deceased father of a local county judge was registered to vote.
“The Registrar’s Office discovered multiple instances of similarly falsified forms when it reviewed additional registrations. Some were in the names of deceased individuals while others bore incorrect middle names, birth dates, and social security numbers,” the statement continues. “The Registrar’s Office learned that the individuals named in these forms had not in fact submitted the new voter registrations.”
Spieles, who says he acted alone, admitted to preparing the false voter registration forms by obtaining the name, age and address of individuals from “walk sheets” created by the Virginia Democratic Party. He also admitted to fabricating Social Security numbers and birth dates for the forms.
As part of his plea deal, Spieles agreed to serve a prison sentence of 100 to 120 days.

h2oysHe probably never thought he would get caught. One wonders if he was "directed" to do so.

Out WestStuff like this must happen all the time. In this instance a cleck recognized a name which lead to an investigation. How likely is it that a clerk would know any names submitted for voter registration?
Some folks complain about requiring a DL/ID to vote. This story is justification for all such voting requirements.

Some ShotHe'll be out again in plenty of time before the next election.
We were told that this never happened, so we didn't need voter ID. After WI got voter ID we are a red state. Makes me wonder.

^^^^^Fact!
The MSM and Democrat talking heads all insist that voter fraud isn't a problem in the USA. But that's simply NOT true -- it's a HUGE problem.
There have been recent revelations that around 5 Million fraudulent votes were cast in last November's election (
LINK)! That puts the lie to the "Hillary won the popular vote" assertion.
Among all the other things we should be fighting for is concrete action to solve this problem and make it go away forever. Here's a list of suggestions that if implemented would accomplish that:
quote:
1. Voter registration must be done only in person. Fraud-friendly motor-voter, postcard, and same-day registration schemes must be either repealed or superseded.
2. Registrations must be done only by full-time paid registrars, employees of counties and/or township government. Third party registrars, paid and unpaid, must be prohibited.
3. Registration must be done only in the county and/or township in which the registrant maintains his/her primary residence.
4. As a requisite for voter registration, each voter must show proof of citizenship (birth certificate or passport) and proof of residence (driver’s license, residential deed, apartment lease, utility bills, etc.).
5. Qualified voters must be issued a voter I.D. card, complete with photo, permanent address, and precinct number, which must then be presented upon entering a polling place at each election.
6. Court administrators must be required to furnish local election boards with name, address, date of birth, and Social Security number of every individual convicted of a felony. Election boards must be required to purge voter registrations of all felons at least ten days prior to any election.
7. County coroners must be required to furnish election boards with copies of all death certificates. All deceased persons must be removed from the voter rolls no later than ten days prior to any election.
8. Registered voters who move from one state to another, from one county or township to another, or from one precinct to another, must obtain a voter registration transfer document from their local election board. This document must be presented, in person, to county or township officials of the voter’s new place of residence.
9. Absentee ballots must be received no later than ten days prior to an election. Absentee ballots must be tallied no later than the day and hour that polls close on Election Day.
10. Absentee ballots completed by residents of nursing homes, elder care, and mental health facilities must be completed only in the presence of representatives of both major political parties.
11. Other than absentee ballots, voting must be done in person, only on the day of the election, and only in the precinct in which the voter maintains his/her primary residence. Electronic voting and vote-by-mail schemes must be repealed or superseded.
12. Provisional ballots must be limited only to the most serious instances of clerical error by election board officials.
13. The national Voting Rights Act must be amended to provide fines and mandatory jail sentences for any individual who would, in any election in which the name of a candidate for federal office appears on the ballot, do any of the following:
a. Vote in the name of another person.
b. Vote or attempt to vote more than once.
c. Vote in the name of a deceased or fictitious person.
d. Vote in more than one state or political subdivision.
e. Vote without benefit of U.S. citizenship.
f. Intimidate, interfere with, or cause injury to the person or property of any other person peaceably engaged in the political process.
g. Cause any other person to do any of the foregoing.
14. All ballots must be non-electronic (paper preferred) and personally marked in some way by the voter for each choice. These ballots are serially numbered and controlled both before and after use, and may be brought back for recounting manually. (Electronic tallying initially is permitted.)
15. For nation-wide elections (President/Vice President) there can be no reporting of partial results while the polls are open ANYWHERE, and this includes the results from polls questioning voters leaving the polling places (ie: "exit polls"). Within states, the same rule must be true for the statewide elections (Senators). This is because the premature release of incomplete results may result in a rush of opposing voters attempting to overturn the trend, or a reluctance of consenting voters to make the effort because it appears their vote is not necessary. The decision to vote or not vote should be made by each voter without any input on how the vote is going while under way.
Thanks,
Sap

Some years ago, a lady was living in a house she inherited from her father, who had died 7 years previous. She began getting "juror summonses" for her late father. Thinking it was some bureaucratic error, she just pitched them.
Then she began getting notices that the deceased was in contempt of court and would have a warrant issued for his arrest, so she called the phone number provided and explained the old fellow had died 7 years ago. The bureaucrat at the other end said "No that's impossible. He's voted in every election the last 7 years."
... stirred anti-clockwise.
