How would you pronounce this first name?
Last weekend we had a very well known and established seaplane sportsman guide go down. He was highly respected by all in the region. The 2 passengers survived. Unfortunately he didn’t. I had to recruit the assistance of an old down deep in the bayou Cajun to assist me

How would you pronounce the gentleman’s first name?

Theophile Bourgouis

I got it right. Seen a lot of folks down the bayou. BTW Ed Orgeron actually has a commercial out for Hospice of all things and how they took good care of his Dad. His speech is amazingly clear in the commercial. I bet it took a few takes. LOL

In case you do not know Ed here is a brief clip:

Coach Yaw Yaw as he is affectionately known in the SEC.

This is a humorous song from his brief, disastrous run as the Head Coach at Ole Miss. They couldn't understand him either.

That was funny. Search for the video with Slingblade"s voice dubbed in for Orgeron. Don't want to drift this thread too far.
