Armour Belt ... arrived ! Login/Join

For at least 30 years I wore a Filson double bridle leather belt ... and it is a very good belt that is still serving me well.

But ... Mike's Armour Belt puts the Filson belt to shame.

Both are double thickness with Mike's belt having thicker leather. The Filson belt is round hole cut for the buckle cinching holes whereas Mike's is oval cut. The Filson is single stitch, Mikes' double stitch and heaver thread.

The cream on top is having my name etch inside. Love that !

And the Filson belt costs 50% + more than Mike's belt.

Arrived early this morning and have already worn it out and about.

So pleased with my Christmas gift !

I will gladly tell anyone who’ll listen about the quality and craftsmanship of Armor belts.

An excellent belt. I have used mine for years now, no sag, no wear. Congrats on a great gift for yourself, your back will appreciate it.

My two Milt Sparks belts will last my life time and two or three others or more. They are that good.

Thanks all ! I have an email into Mike the best conditioner to use of the belt. Growing up on a farm riding and raising horses all we used on leather was old fashion saddle soap.

I have 2 and love them both. I also have a Hank's belt that I wear. Thinner leather than the Armour and it gets the nod for IWB.

I'd rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I'm not.

I’ve posted this before, but it bears repeating. If you’re looking for a thin yet supportive belt from Armor, ask Mike to make you a dress belt with internal stiffener. Same 1.5” size, but two thinner pieces of leather. With the stiffener it will carry the same weight as his traditional gun belts, but in a thinner profile.

I actually like the thicker belt, and Mike's Armour belt is just perfect for me.

The belt will also work for me for dressing up and going out.

I have 3 Armour and am pleased.
  • 1.25" belt for my Dockers
  • 1.5" belt for my jeans and cargo pants
  • 1.5" belt with full quill ostrich inlays. Mike made it to match my Lucchese full quill ostrich boots. I was so pleased that I made a Sigforum thread about it.

My Armour belt is over 12 years old and has been worn daily. Still looks and functions great.

I've always hesitated getting a quality belt like these as I would need almost double the holes as my waist fluctuates that much. :C
