Presently, I live in a home that is maintained by a landscaper, but I'm moving to a new home in a few months. My friends recommended a Cub Cadet Ultima ZT1 (Kohler engine), which also comes with a Kawasaki engine (ZT2 Ultima). They said the Kawasaki's aren't what they once were.

I had a JD lawn tractor with a Kawasaki engine I bought in 1986 that I gave away to a neighbor last year when I sold a house I owned. Thing was a tank, so I was leaning towards Kawasaki, but steered away by my buds who own houses on 2+ acres. Lawn maintenance is a 12 month affair here.

I have a Stihl 011AVT chainsaw that I bought around 1987. Runs great. Took it to the Stihl dealer after I used it after a hurricane and he said to keep it, don't sell it. I guess they don't make them like they used to.

Not sure about the other equipment. I'm leaning towards Echo for a trimmer.
