Thank you Very little ![]() |
The Ring works well, lag time and notifications are a function of your internet connection to the Ring and speed of your connection to the web. Make sure you have good wifi signal at the doorbell location, the stronger the better. Our home is block so signals don't travel through those walls well, I put a Mesh unit up in that area of the home to improve signal in that area of the home which is farthest from the main router in the back office.

Thanks. Yeah, I think I have that covered. My wireless router is located in my home office about 10 feet away from the doorbell. And it just goes through drywall/studs. I think it should have a good signal. Today's ISP speed test shows 664 Mbps download/21 Mbps upload over wireless. Should be good.

Hi, all. An update. I just finished installing the Ring Pro 2, working through all the settings and testing the features, notifications, and video quality. I am quite impressed with everything so far. Glad I went with the Ring Pro 2. I'll let you know if I have any further feedback.

Some better than others, read their specs. In Texas (or the southwest) it could be a concern. In PA, I don’t know it’s a first concern sort of thing. ———- Do not meddle in the affairs of wizards, for thou art crunchy and taste good with catsup.
