The anti-NRA war moves on with a billboard declaring the NRA a terrorist organization. How much more crazy will we see? The article says Soros is funding the PAC, so funds are available.

We do like freedom of speech, don't we?

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

It’s probably good that these fools waste money on signs instead of spending money where it might do some good, bribing Congressmen, etc.

Nobody interested in the NRA takes notice of such nonsense.

Why is that so funny and at the same time so not funny?

With Soros funding the PAC I think they will be pretty aggressive with their "postings" - billboards, newspaper ads, TV ads - as we approach the election in November. Put it in the minds of the masses.

We are closing in on the primary in KY. Topics always being raised at the local discussions are the "guns in school", "arm the teachers", "assault weapon ban" issues. I've only seen one candidate's literature that mentions he's an NRA member. If others are, they are not showing it.

I'm just going to start quoting the meme I saw the other day...

"If all the non-NRA members would stop shooting people, there wouldn't be a gun problem in this country."

"If you’re a leader, you lead the way. Not just on the easy ones; you take the tough ones too…” – MAJ Richard D. Winters (1918-2011), E Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne

"Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil... Therefore, as tongues of fire lick up straw and as dry grass sinks down in the flames, so their roots will decay and their flowers blow away like dust; for they have rejected the law of the Lord Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel." - Isaiah 5:20,24

Absolutely! But if there is slander/libel, there should be repercussions.

Probably had more to do with the click-bait nature of the thread title. But, I could very well be wrong, though.

^^^^^This.

There's a difference between free speech and slander.

Seems that this ought to be actionable, should the NRA choose to pursue it.

But, maybe that's exactly what Soros wants: to bleed the NRA dry while he finances the slanderers with his bottomless bank account.

Thanks,

The left knows the first step in accomplishing their goal is to demonize the NRA, make them the harbinger of all evil, and shut them down. Once they are gone, the 2nd amendment is defenseless

LOL.

Was not there an attack against the NRA in the early 80's or so? A bunch of fools dropped their NRA membership (big numbers if I recall) and then a few years later, they regain the loss and another up to 20 pct new members, making the NRA stronger than before?

National Rights Association - NRA stands for more rights than those idiots opposed to it.

It only stands to reason that where there's sacrifice, there's someone collecting the sacrificial offerings. Where there's service, there is someone being served. The man who speaks to you of sacrifice is speaking of slaves and masters, and intends to be the master.

Yes, but they believe whether there is a sign or not.

Then, you should have asked the right question, "Do you think anyone other than the robots/sheep believes it?" Razz

Just for perspective, I spent seven hours behind the wheel driving to South Carolina on Monday of last week and seven hours again on Wednesday driving home, and I don't think I remember more than maybe a couple billboards that entire time. The only nitwits this advertising might reach are people who already believe the message.
