For six years I used a
" ballistic nylon" pouch with a flap and locking snap closure,
That would fit in a pants pocket or be snapped on to a belt.

It wasn't to obtrusive, it didn't appear overly " tactical" and protected the moto g 7 phone very well.

But the flap snap came un sewn and a snap on the back side belt loop ripped.

So I'd like something similar,
For under $25.00.

Molle is ok.
I don't like the hard steel belt clips.

Of course they don't make the one that I have any more, grrrrr.

I use a sling bag that hangs on my chest. I put everything in it including my phone.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." I bought one of https://www.simple.be years ago. I recommend it. Made to order for you, in the U.S. of A.

I've used the XXL Sideways for many years, still in good shape.

Also, added the rotating 'Clip Case Cargo™ Universal Rugged Holsters' in XXL.

Its very stable and nice to rotate the position.

I pick my shirts so their pockets will fit my IP 15. And I have my seamstress sew phone pockets into all my jackets. Too many things bang into the phone when I tried to belt carry. That said, the NiteIze cases are excellent and priced right.

I used to love the Pdair phone holsters/pouches but they stopped doing business in 2020. The holsters fit the phones with a slim case on them perfectly. Of course they were in China and couldn't do business because of the pandemic. They never came back from it.

I just recently found a brand on Amazon that seems to be similar in fit for my phone but who knows if the long term quality is there. So far I like it.

Seems like some might prefer one of these with a cut-out so the phone could double as a body cam.

If this idea generates any royalties, I will gladly accept them!

I used something similar to the simple.be one years ago. Not too expensive, durable, secure, minimalistic. I generally carry it in my pocket these days, but if I were to go back to belt, I'd get another.

Interesting topic and I will be following and looking at options.

I have ALWAYS put every iPhone I have owned into an OtterBox, and been grateful for it. However, now with my iPhone 14 Pro Max, it is fine in personal wear, but in my uniform pants it doesn’t fit the belt and there isn’t room with my extra mag carrier. It also doesn’t fit in the 5.11 pants pockets so I have just kind of carried it as I can. This is my personal phone I speak of as my work phone is an outdated POS that fits just fine in my pocket.

I don't care to open carry my phone, too many people can see it and there is always the opportunity for someone to come up behind you and take it, or you can knock it off your waist.

I prefer to conceal carry my phone in my pocket, that way nobody can tell I have one on me...

I also pocket carry my phone. I carry my keys on a carabiner clip on my side belt loop, my EDC on my right side, don't want or need anything else hanging off me.

with modern biometrics, a locked phone is of no value to any thief.
