I actually laughed out loud.
Great to see some of the actors back.

Bader hasn't changed much....

Clearly they are after a bit older demographic. Most of the young un's do not get any references to this movie.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Thanks I did not know I was part of the younger demographic. In any case I never saw the movie or the TV show. Maybe if they had references to the Lone Ranger and Tonto or maybe Flash Gordon.

Well, if this thread is any evidence, a bunch of old farts don't get the references either. Wink

So they're aiming primarily at the generation that would have been in their 20s and 30s in 1999 or shortly thereafter.

I'm part of that older demographic also and to be honest, I have never even heard of that movie or watched the TV show!

To reiterate, "Office Space" (the movie) and "The Office" (TV series) have absolutely NOTHING...NOTHING...again...NOTHING in common. There is no common thread there whatsoever. As for the references to Office Space in the commercial, I'd have to watch the movie again. Not sure I wanna waste my time, as I recall, watching it the first time was a YUGE waste of my time. JMHO...

One of my favorite opening scenes in a movie.

Well... They do both take place in an office. So there's that. Wink

I loved the movie and thought it was a comedy; then I graduated and started working and realized it was a documentary.
