Karma - retirement and other good things - winner notified by email. Thanks all.
In celebration of (semi-encouraged) retirement this year, blessings of late, and the goodness of SF activity (both directly and indirectly), it's about time for me to offer a karma to give back at least a measure of the blessing and benefits I've received.
To that end, Dave (of Mimi's; Thanks Dave!!) and I are offering a watch karma (watch details forthcoming from Dave). Watch will be sent directly to you from Dave / Mimi's.
In the spirit of the karma basis are a few minor eligibility requirements:
1) be active on SF (roughly 250 or more posts per year; that's not much considering I've easily doubled and I listen more than I contribute) OR 2) are serving or have served (includes reserve) in mil/le (honor system since I can't verify). OR 3) have patronized Mimi's before (again, honor system).
For #2 or #3, please indicate such if you don't qualify for #1.
Winner will be randomly selected at some future random date/time. (must respond via email in your public profile; for winner privacy, I'll just indicate a winner was selected).

ETA: Here's the watch selected by Dave for this co-karma. I'd like to convey my appreciation to Dave for his contributions to SF karma's. As we all know, not just great offerings, but the frequent as well. He's a role model for kindness for me. And you could set your watch by his karma's.

Please include me for consideration. I’m right around 250 posts per year, maybe a little shy, but I’ve spent 20 year in Law Enforcement on a full time basis and am actively serving part time if that combo is enough for me to qualify. Thank you very much for your generosity.

I've done all three things. lol. I'm currently wearing the last watch I bought from Mimi's. It's my work watch. In year 27 of LE but I think they are trying to kill me. They just told me that in December because of the other night shift sgt's surgery, I will have to work every night in December. I told them to promote someone already. I have 27 years of acculumated sick time I can use. I think I've called off 48 hours in my 27 years here.

Mimi's is our "family" jeweler. I've made several purchases from David over the years and my wife bought me my Molon Labe ring from there. Our son and his wife are second generation customers having bought their wedding rings from him. So 3) as well
No military service and not LE.
