Savor the limelight
| In my college top Raman, generic Mac and cheese because I couldn’t afford the 49 cents for a box of Kraft days, I built a set of shelves like that for my stereo equipment. Gotta have priorities. |

| Works. Blocks take up too much room. Some two by fours and a couple sheets of plywood more my style. But hey

My very first thought!

This will be replaced with something similar in short order. Commercial shelves aren’t strong enough for all the projectiles. Wastes a lot of space and I can’t find industrial shelves for a decent price. Like ORC said, the 8x8 are a bit too big. Might try and use some 4x8 paver type next time.

| For the stereo rack, I used 4x8x16 solid concrete blocks from Menards. I don’t remember what they cost, but that was almost 40 years ago. |

| Most of the college apartment racks I recall were milk crates and twisted lumber that were scraps from a housing project dumpster. Stereos didn’t always lay flat but it was free. Boones Farm and girls usually took priority anyway. Bonus was the milk crates held a ton of albums.
That shelf unit will hold all the brass and lead you want to set on it. I hope those plastic bins made the journey north with you. Those things are awesome for reloading stuff. |

| You kids are hi-tech. I may have "borrowed" a couple of milk crates and an old wooden road sign to set my stereo on back in the day. Use what ya got Cheers~ |

| Looks like my college days book shelves.
No tools, no damage to walls, trash at the end of the year. |
