"They won't stand for it!" So uhhh what are you going to do Jamarius? Some how force them to stay open? Good luck. I reject your reality and substitute my own. --Adam Savage, MythBusters

When Seven Eleven and Waffle House start bailing on a community, it's time for martial law. Rational, law-abiding citizens in these blighted areas need rescuing.

I'm sure him and some buddies would be willing to buy those stores and run them themselves.

They may actually be fighting racism by closing the stores. They've been accused of selling products that show racism, menthol cigarettes, malt liquor, cheap wine and other products. Now they have to sell products that don't necessarily appeal to the local market and also have to deal with a high rate of theft. What's a retailer to do? Maybe some local entrepreneurs from the local community like Jamarius Washington could step forward to fill the void. ___________________________ Avoid buying ChiCom/CCP products whenever possible.

That’s all I can come up with. If yall are mad at the closing businesses, you open one up and get looted and lose money. Sounds like a sound business plan. ...Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel, was just a freight train coming your way...

Beat me to it. Good luck calling a Japanese corporation racist against black people as if they’re going to give even the slightest shit. It’s possibly the most homogenous society on the planet with a culture built around avoiding bringing shame to yourself at all costs and they don’t have even a fraction of the problems we have here. You’re gonna what? Be anything other than Japanese and loot their stores, which they would view as a shameful act, until they relent? Ok. ______________________________________________ Carthago delenda est

Do---or do not. There is no try. |
Even in the nicer areas of Dallas, one can just see the difference between what 7-11 stores used to look like and now. QuikTrip, based in Tulsa, has made huge inroads in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and is spreading into portions of north Texas that 7-11 had a monopoly on as recently as 10 years ago. No more. People want safer and more secure convenience stores with good selection, quality merchandise, and a lower risk of being run over by a grab-and-go mob.

An excuse I've seen made for these looting incidents. I don't think there is such insurance, or if there is, they won't keep it long.

To keep the stores open AND prevent looting, 7-11 Corporate should just change the pricing structure at these stores and list everything at $900.00, which the price threshold of stolen merchandise that a thief can be charged. This would surely be a strong deterrent! __________ "I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal labotomy."

It’s all about color, that color is GREEN!! Gee my stores keep getting robbed…….carry the 2…….divide by 9……. It’s not that hard and it sure isn’t racist. It’s capitalist. "Guns are tools. The only weapon ever created was man."

At this point, it would be more profitable to hire off duty cops to moonlight and provide aggressive armed security. One cop standing outside and armed to the teeth would go miles to stopping these mobs. Try to force your way past a cop telling you you’re threatening his safety? Instant self defense shoot. Of course there was a time in our nations fledgling days where the storekeeper could protect his goods with deadly force, but we can’t have that! “Remember to get vaccinated or a vaccinated person might get sick from a virus they got vaccinated against because you’re not vaccinated.” - author unknown

Perhaps. But this assumes that the thief would be arrested. And if arrested, would be prosecuted. And if prosecuted, would be convicted. And if convicted, would be punished. I'm gonna go w/ pull-out. Pull-out, in this and other ways, would help solve this for biz. Losing revenue is better than losing revenue and theft losses. "Wrong does not cease to be wrong because the majority share in it." Hey Jamarius, you CAN get your groceries delivered. You have to order online, and assuming you can figure out how to do something for yourself instead of demanding others to do things for you, order it online and get it delivered. Walmart will deliver for a small fee, and often usually for free. Pretty much any grocery store chain will offer home delivery. (not to mention that possibility that the delivery drivers may not want to go and get robbed).
