Porch Flagpole Recommendations
I want to change out my two flagpoles I have with US and military flags that are on my front porch because they are pretty weathered and they are for 2x3 flags which are hard to find, everything seems to be 3x5.

The ones I have do have these spinner clips but the flags are ALWAYS bunched and twisted up, do they make a pole with the spinners that actually works? They're metal poles from Amazon and have lasted about 5 years now but the sun and weather have beat them up pretty well. I change my flags usually once a year.

I'd like some recommendations here, thanks!

I have gotten these from amazon.

Flagpole rings: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BLVKGFVY?th=1

Flagpole: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09TPBGQW8?th=1

The rings that come with the flagpole are cheap plastic and broke on me immediately.
The separate rings listed above are metal and have lasted a few years now.

Other than the fact both these items are made in China, the only issue I have with the flagpoles is the sections may loosen up over time. I could probably use Loctite on the threaded sections.

That is essentially what I have and the pole section are getting rusty and the sun cooked the top knob piece so its flaking off now.

For buy-once, cry-once, made in the USA, my flagpole company is uncommon flagpoles.

They have house flag kits (angled porch mount) in a couple of sizes for under $200.

I have several poles from Allegiance Flag Supply. They have nice hickory poles, and ball bearing swivels that are adjustable for different flag sizes. I nearly never have to straighten a flag out with their swivels. The pole at my business has been out there for 3 years, and is still going strong. It's outside 24/7/365. Their flags are very nice as well. Everything is made in the states. https://www.showallegiance.com

I have one of these as well, and while it works at least as well as the one from Allegiance, I'm sure its Chicom made, and is not nearly as durable. The whole top of the pole is on a swivel, and they eventually break at that point. The pole also takes a slight angle at that point where the 2 pieces go together. I have replaced a few of these in the same time that the other poles have held up fine. This one only holds an open flag, so the flag hitting the ground when it breaks is not an issue. https://www.amazon.com/6ft-Spi...5FODBA/ref=sr_1_6_pp

FWIW, the Amazon listing states that this is a frequently returned item.

When I read "porch flag", I read it as something you attach to your house/porch. Not a 40' flag pole.

Soooo...,

I bought this from Depot and use a Valley Forge flag. The reason I like this porch pole, it can adjust to be half-staff

I'm very happy with mine. Easy to put up and the 3x5 that mine is stays mostly free-flowing. A couple of times I've had to help the spinning attachments.

That is interesting. I’ve bought 2 sets for my flagpoles and they work well.
I didn’t check the reviews.

I gotta stop reading these thread titles without my glasses. Why would anyone want a flag pole for their porsche?

Parades. Duh.

The company I linked to above makes a flagpole hitch mount. Now you just need a tow hitch on your Porsche.

You need a flagpole, vertical, about 32 feet tall, with an amateur radio antenna in it, and a grounding radial field beneath it.

Add a Yaesu HF radio in your office. With a 1.5 kilowatt amp.

Then, you can put up both flags in a regulation size. Talk to the world. And the HOA cannot stop you.

Wait. Maybe this is what I need.
