Owners manuals
If memory serves me correctly it is or was a federal law that manufactures had to provide an owners manual upon on request.

I bought a used Charter Arms Bulldog and would like a manual. I just wondered if I am on firm ground to request one.

Can you view it online? Lots of manufacturers put the manuals on their sites.

Years ago when I worked at a gun store if we had a used trade in from a customer with no manual I would call the manufacture and request one. They usually sent one no problem however that was years ago. I would give them a call and ask, the worst they might do is charge you for one to be mailed if they still have them.

OP if you go to charter arms website and click on the FAQ at the top of the page there are hot links to cleaning, etc…doesn’t look like they have a pdf available on their website.

If those videos don’t help, just drop them an email and I’m sure they will send you one or email you one.
