Big win! To put in perspective: first team ever to be unranked twice in one season and beat two top-5 teams by double digits. I love it when the Spoilermakers make an appearance.

I'm a Purdue alum, but had plans yesterday so I was recording it. Text messages and FB posts completely spoiled my plan of watching it on DVR last night.

I saw a stat today. Purdue, when unranked, has 17 victories over top 5 opponents!

I’m convinced there is something fundamentally wrong with the ranking system. The University of Illinois has beaten top 20 teams two weeks in a row. Before that, they were 2 & 5. I’m an alum, and I know the Illini are perennial losers.
