You don't know that, so just cut it out. You don't know what will happen in any of this.

Where's your white flag?

Let's be clear that just because the attorney was arrested doesn't mean he did squat. He could have been rounded up as part of a group without doing anything criminal and how often are people arrested and ultimately there are are no charges?

I'd like to see the evidence of his wrongdoing and if there is, disbarment couldn't happen fast enough.

As much as I despise the SPLC, at the moment, until some evidence is released, they are saying he was an observer and didn't do anything criminal.

I want there to be evidence in the worst way.

Waiting for evidence to be presented. What a novel idea.

No surprise to anybody here...we've been saying for years that the SPLC is a terrorist organization. He was there to 'observe' and then pretend these violent rioters are 'peaceful protestors'.

In a joint statement with the National Lawyers Guild (NLG), SPLC said Jurgen was acting as a legal observer and his arrest proves police were wrong to crack down on the "protesters":

"An employee at the SPLC was arrested while acting — and identifying — as a legal observer on behalf of the National Lawyers Guild (NLG). The employee is an experienced legal observer, and their arrest is not evidence of any crime, but of heavy-handed law enforcement intervention against protesters.

This is part of a months-long escalation of policing tactics against protesters and observers who oppose the destruction of the Weelaunee Forest to build a police training facility. The SPLC has and will continue to urge de-escalation of violence and police use of force against Black, Brown and Indigenous communities — working in partnership with these communities to dismantle white supremacy , strengthen intersectional movements and advance the human rights of all people."

"As trained witnesses of police conduct, NLG Legal Observers serve an important role in supporting movement organizers and activists. NLG is proud to contribute in whatever ways we can to advancing the critical work of our movement allies advocating for liberation and community care. NLG remains in solidarity with the movement to Stop Cop City," the NLG said in their statement.

Best I can tell, at the VERY LEAST everyone arrested here was trespassing, at a minimum. Yes, including the twatwaffle SPLC "legal observer".

So we have a "legal group", the SPLC, advocating trespassing? Mkay, sure.

I really wish the police and/or National Guard would be turned loose on these punks, like they were back in the 60's with riotous hippies. A knock to the head with a baton would have them scurrying back to mom's basement.

I'm not quite sure why that would be an unreasonable request?

Arrested isn't guilt. No one is interested in what the evidence is but just giddy that he was arrested?

Don't tell me- you were involved in a horrible comedy club accident and doctors had to remove your sense of humor.

These vermin are traitors. Expel them from this country and send them to the communist/socialist haven of their choice. Next, send a covert hit team to remove George Soros from existence for meddling in our affairs.

I hope the two foreign nationals are placed on the "Denied Entry" list forever. I hope both the Canadian and French governments take their own action against their people committing terrorist acts on foreign shores.

We have enough of these idiots here already, we certainly don't need to import them.

“A judge on Tuesday granted bond for a Southern Poverty Law Center employee and attorney among 23 defendants charged with domestic terrorism in connection to Atlanta’s "Cop City."

Thomas Webb Jurgens, one of just two defendants from Georgia, claims to have been a legal observer on behalf of the National Lawyers Guild (NLG) when a crowd of 50 to 100 people allegedly criminally trespassed on marked land, walked about a half mile through the forest and descended on the construction site of the future Atlanta Public Safety Training Center. …”

As much as I agree that the Police / Pissed off people should be let loose and put these lil fucks in check, Hickory shampoo, waterboarded in Getmo/ Djbuti... Here's the reality, and the reason the lawyer was there-

They're going to have an "Agitator", he's the loudmouth that can take an asskicking. He's the one that's going to be directly confrontational, break stuff, get up in people's faces.

Behind them are the people with the cameras and recording stuff. Documenting it for all to see, often times they have "press" passes around their necks. Even better that there's live streaming platforms, so if the camera gets unfortunately smashed, taken, dropped down a sewer, in a lake, run over by a truck... there's still video on the internet.

The scumbag lawyer is there to document as well, then advise and represent during and after the arrest. Then he files the excessive force, violations of the 1st, 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th, Amendments. Then the payouts.
How do you think SPLC, Anqueefa, aclu get their $? LAWSUITS!
Look at the settlements in the 2020 Riots. NYC, Denver, Cleveland... all in the 10+ Million Dollar range.

There's Medics in the group as well.

They are organized, have secure communications, and aren't as stupid as most think.

I urge you to go to a protest in a large city! Preferably a peaceful one! I don't care what city, just attend. LOOK!!!! Watch the crowd, watch the cops, watch the people watching the cops... See the guy/gal with the notepad and armband? Did you see them take down the names and badge numbers of all the police? See the dickbag in all black with the black mask, probably a backpack? I thought we were all done with this covid shit... See the "press" with the passes, and the cameras all over the place? If you know what you're looking at, or for, you'll better understand.

The more you know! Wink
