Yesterday I saw on my FB feed that Brad was looking to make his county a sanctuary county here in Michigan. He is also running again in local government. Just thought people may an to know.

Sorry for the double post. This is pre-emptive. There is also a bill in the state house that would do the same thing state wide. That won't go anywhere because of the governor.

It was very nice to read Brad's NON appliance posts. They were very interesting and informative and I really missed what he added to the board over the years.

Perhaps retitling the thread would help as most only know Brad as the appliance guru instead of being a pro-2A local political figure.

How about, "One of Our Own Campaigning to Make His County a Sanctuary County"

It'd be more descriptive AND:
  • no confusion on which job
  • people would have to open and read to figure out which member (i.e. helps with his low key desire) is fighting the good fight
  • people who only read thread titles won't resume bombarding him with appliance questions

    Preemptive.

Michigan's Legislature and Supreme Court are still dominated by non-leftists. But, I'm sad to report, Michigan moved distinctly in a blue direction last election cycle Frown

It that continues you can bet your bottom dollar the leftists and other anti-gunners will begin to move to restrict the RKBA in Michigan.

What happened in Virginia did not happen in a vacuum. We must all be pro-active. I'm very glad for those like Appliance Brad who get involved.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

I'm hoping that the electors of this state see through the shenanigans of the "Three Stooges" that we have now. Gas tax hike, dismissal (for now and how long?) in the Flint water crisis, Hours long and multiple weeks waiting for an appointment in our Secretary of State offices while the Secretary concerns herself more with photo ops with GM strikers and Congressional redistricting.

Does anyone know a way to contribute to his campaign? I'd be in for a few bucks. Maybe as a whole we could lob a money bomb on his campaign to help get him elected. He deserves it.

His current run is in a local election for a County Commissioner . He sits on his township board.
